Conservation 2007

On May 15th, 2007 we once again conducted our annual streamside sampling on upper Fall Creek . . . and discovered these creatures and many others, all crucial to a healthy trout population and the overall vitality of the watershed.

On May 7th, we joined the local Girl Scout's to continue the restoration effort along Virgil creek in Dryden by planting Willow trees! Most of the Willows planted last spring are growing!

In May we also joined other conservation minded volunteers to clean up trash below the falls on Fall Creek.

And in June we removed trash from the West Branch of the Tioughnioga river in Cortland.
